Brett G. Gold, MS, is a Washington State Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC- #00004341) and a Board Certified Professional Counselor (BCPD). His specialty for much of his career has been working with children, adolescents and their families to improve communication, teach life skills to create strategies for better decision making, problem solving, self-improvement and acceptance.
However, since the isolation consequences of COVID, Brett has seen a significant increase in the need for adult mental health services, as well. The incidences of depression, anxiety, escapism with drugs & addictions, social challenges, poor academic performance, and difficulties in effective communication due to lack of social engagement have, unfortunately, sky-rocketed. This increased need is the reason why Brett has joined the on-line platform of Headway so he can reach a larger community regardless of where the client is located in Washington State.
Brett's preferred therapeutic modalities are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Rational Emotive Behavioral therapy (REBT).
